University of Texas Libraries Subject Specialists

Subject Specialist Directory

What are Subject Specialists?

Subject specialists are librarians who are responsible for the selection and development of information resources for their assigned subjects. They work closely with their respective departmental chairs and faculty and are available to confer individually with faculty and students concerning research needs, library instruction, existing library resources, new acquisitions, and other library matters. Questions regarding library collections and access to information should be referred to them.
